Child Advocacy - Asking for what our child need to be comfortable and (hopefully) thrive - $125

Get on a quest to feel confident in asking for what your child really needs in all environnement in 7 actionable missions

With a child that has needs different then the "norm" we often feel like we need to defend them, advocate for them in the different places they are in their life, school coming first but many other places will be impact (camp,  community activities, sports, family events even).

This workshop, completed with email templates and cheat sheet, will help you do just that in a more organized and less emotional way, as we can so easily get caught in the emotions and not be able to clearly advocate for our kid.

Special Parenting Grief - Coming soon

Because when we have kids with special needs, grief is part of our everyday life.

Not because we lost someone...it's a different grief, it's:

  • The grief of what we where expecting our child would be
  • The grief of what parent we thought we would be
  • The grief of the milestones that don't happen the same way, that each time can be hard on our heart
  • The grief of a normal life (whatever that means)
  • The grief of the people we had to part with (or put up with) because they don't understand...
  • The grief of not feeling understood
  • The grief of the loneliness

And it's there, always, and comes back in waves when we think we are done with it.

In this workshop, we will

  • Get a bit more comfortable with grief
  • Normalize it
  • Realize that we are not going through it the same way as the other people in our child life
  • and find a way to live with it that doesn't hurt as much.

Calm Kid - $125 Coming Soon

Really understand YOUR unique child to help them feel more secure and grounded to calm them down

I talk a lot about Detective Work: identifying what our child needs, who they really are, what their interests are, what helps them regulate and feel (and act) well, etc.

But that's really hard work! So I put together that workshop to help you do it more easily and with a bit more structure, with a workbook to note it all down and concrete exercices and prompts to help you in the process.

Plus concrete tools and exercises you can try with your child to help them regulate their emotions.

Last spring you were my lifeline. You understood me, you listened to me, you gave me pointers. I'm so glad I got you during the storm.

Thank you by the way, I can't tell you enough.

5 Keys to Become a Confident Parent - Coming soon

What is parental confidence?
it’s a mix of 2 things:

  1. Knowledge
  2. Experience

and it’s impacted by 3 others:

  • Feedback
  • Support
  • Social image

What does that means, especially in relation with parenting emotionally intense kids?
That what this training is all about!

Our Family Magic Sauce! - Coming soon

There's no one right way to parent, just the one that works for YOU and YOUR child.

This upcoming workshop will help you clarify that in some fun and practical ways!

Parents, who are you? - Coming soon

So often we parent through the day, without really reflecting, thinking or pausing to ask ourself those questions:

  • Who am I as a parent?
  • What do I want as a parent?
  • What are my parenting values?

But those questions, or more importantly their answers, can help us go through the day in a more purposeful way.

That's what this workshop will be all about! Helping you get that clarity so you don't just go with life without  really thinking about it, you can go through it with intention and presence (and a bit more fun hopefully!)

Anouk was so involved and responsive with all the students on board.

She gave so freely of herself. But she also does it in the course material and shares her knowledge and tips without holding back so that everyone wins.

K. L.

"Anouk (...) is very intuitive and knowledgeable and had great practical tips for me to tackle the challenges I am experiencing with my 2 children.

She had insight which I had not ever even contemplated myself.

Thanks so much Anouk!"

Hi, if we don't know each other,
I'm Anouk
!🖐️

I'm a mom of 3 emotionally intense (and wonderful) kids, I have a master's in social work and I’ve been supporting parents for 15 years (and that's how long I've been a mom!).

So now I support and mentor parents of emotionally intense kids for whom nothing in the “general parenting advice” seems to work.

Together, we'll uncover what’s going on with your child and find solutions and ideas that work for YOU and YOUR kid(s) so things go more smoothly, you can quit feeling like you are failing at parenting in constant fear of the next outburst and feel confident in trying different things that fit your kids' needs better.

A few places you can also hear, see or read me...
