"Just in Time" Parenting Support

1 on 1 "Just in time" support for parents of emotionally intense kids

To feel confident to find YOUR way to parent your exceptional kids more peacefully

Exactly WHEN YOU need it

Do any of this resonate...

  • You feel alone and like nobody understands what you're going through with your kids
  • You feel judged when your doing things differently then what you "should be doing" and it's making you doubt yourself
  • The amount of big and small decisions you have to make everyday is weighing on you
  • You feel like a failure as you keep trying "parenting advices" and it’s not working
  • You keep loosing it at your child in the middle of their outburst as you feel powerless
  • You feel you're not entitled to any kind of help since “it’s not that bad” or "I need to find my child help, I don't need help”
  • Your child is generally a good, sweet and intelligent child... but the conflicts are taking over your relationship

Sometimes there are victories, for a few moments you feel good and you have the feeling that you are doing things right with your kids, but it doesn't last...

Wish that feeling was there more often?

Then I'm really glad you landed here because that's exactly what this program is about!

But I would love you to know that...

What you are living is valid and you are not alone, even if you feel like nobody believes you or really understands what you're going through

The parenting advice you've been trying to follow is the problem, it's not you or your child

It's possible to feel like a good parent (a lot more often), even if you need to do some trial and error with you parenting strategies until you find something that works

You can stay calm when things spiral out of control, even if now it feels impossible to do so when you are in the middle of one of your kids meltdown

How do I know?
Because I experience it too!

During my children's early childhood years, I so often felt overwhelmed, felt like I would never get my head above water, and constantly doubted my skills as a mom, making me feel like a failure.

And you know what? It still happens some days and I'm really happy to have a community of parents and support people I can trust to share the real and the raw and, let's be honest, the ugly of what I might be going through.

I've read books and blogs on the subject of parenting, positive discipline, sleep, child psychology, etc. but most advice never worked with my kids and more often then not I struggled  to adapt things so it would fit their needs and our family reality.

Mère, 2 enfants plus vieux et nouveau bébé

And still today, the thing that I find the hardest is that even if I have some support, it always happens to not be at the right moment! When I need it the most, in the middle of a crisis or when I have to make important decisions regarding my kids quickly, I feel totally alone as I don't have other parents that can relate and really understand and might be farther along than I am to talk to and use as sounding board to help me through it.

So after doing my master's degree in social work , having supported parents of special needs kids for more then 15 years and having myself navigated  life as a parent of 3 emotionally intense children (each in their own way) for as long, I developed the program I needed (and still needs sometimes 😅) to help parents like you (and me):

Introducing:

"Just in Time" Parenting Support

"Just in time" is individual and customized support for parents of emotionally intense children who are doing everything they can...

But it's just not working!

So your ready to try new things and adapt parenting to YOUR real life and YOUR children and you're ready to go from feeling guilty, overwhelmed and confused to

  • not letting the challenges with your kids take all the space in your life
  • feel confident in doing things differently so it works better for your family
  • find some peace even when things don’t work
  • put perfection aside and no longer seek to meet expectations that do not suit your reality
  • feel finally supported and understood
  • rediscover the pleasure of being with your children on a daily basis
  • trust that you are a wonderful parents (much more often then you think)
  • and even have some time FOR YOU!

The right support

"Just in time"

The reality is that some days you are going to feel overwhelmed, you are going to be tired often and even, at times, you are going to want to tear your hair out, drop everything and leave. Because parenting emotionally intense kids is emotionally challenging for us too! What if, when it happens and you feel totally overwhelmed and alone, you could send a trusted person a message, no matter what time of day.

What if you could send that person a message in-between cooking dinner and washing the dishes, or while waiting in the doctor's office, or while your rocking your youngest to bed, or while on a park bench, or between 2 loads of laundry or while walking the dog.

Knowing that she will get back to you in the next 12 to 24 hours (probably way earlier then that) to troubleshoot the situation and support you through it and you don't have to wait for next week appointment or an eventual email answer?

That's what I'm offering to you.

Ongoing support by chat and audio, accessible any time you want, day and night. Doesn't mean I will answer in the middle of the night (but I might 😜 we all know life with high demand kids is often unpredictable) but it means you can send me a message anytime you need support and get an answer as fast as most friends or family members would. With the added benefit of talking to another parent who  gets it and at the same time someone with professional training and experience who won't judge. Best of both worlds.

I know this kind of support might sounds weird or uncomfortable to you...

so I asked one of my client to share their experience with you

1-How did you feel about getting chat/audio support before you did? Anything you where worried about?
I really had no idea how this might work out, but I was curious to try out, and it was a pleasant surprise, it really worked out well. I was not really worried, I thought the worst that could happen is I do not get an answer...

2-How would you compare getting support that way and getting it in person or via Zoom?
The good thing about this Voxer (app used previously) is that I have more time to think about my questions, (I have to put them in precise words), and I have more time to think about the answer I get (I do not have to stuff ), and I can read it again, so I really can remember it. The answers do not get lost in a huge talking dialog, but it takes time, which is a good thing when it comes to advice.

3-Did the experience of chat/audio support answered any worries you had about doing it that way?
The experience was indeed much better than I expected! I really enjoyed that it is slower than a normal coaching session, which takes place in an hour, and you have to stuff all the questions and all the answers in this time slot.

4-Any general comment on your experience?
Anouk is really helpful, she knows sooo much and is generous in sharing her knowledge. She even recommended some books that were matching my question, which I found really helpful. She asked all the right questions, and gave me time to come up with ideas.
She is very supportive, and respectful, and I felt comfortable in sharing our struggles.

I really enjoyed the call with Anouk. We were chatting, laughing, exchanging experiences… I love how she can create a joyful, warm and safe space to interact. It felt like a coffee date with a friend!
She was very attentive and understanding (...). Thanks a lot for listening and sharing your experience with me, Anouk.

This support will work for you even if...

  • You don't have the time: It's the NUMBER ONE goal of that way of supporting you, it's that if fits right in the craks of your days (and nights) while you wait in line at the grocery store, are at the park with the kids, wait for water to boil, are outside one of your kids appointments or nurse a younger one.
  • You have zero energy: Oh how I feel you! It can be so emotionally draining to take care of emotionally intense kids. By clarifying your thoughts and worries and cleaning up your feeling of not being the parent you want to be, some of your energy will come back to you. And you don't have to dress up and get out of the house to get support, not even show your face on a Zoom call, you just need your phone and the ability to use it! You could even be laying in bed...or on the toilet 😜. So not much energy required.
  • You've already read all about parenthood and nothing works, why would it be different:  This is one of the main objectives of the program: Focus on YOUR child to find what's going on and try solutions tailored to their needs, and yours, so it actually works. There is no cookie cutter solutions here, just working together to find the right ones for you.  It's not a training of something new to learn, but full discloser I might point you to some resources that I think can help YOU. In fact it's kind of my super power to find the right resources to fit your needs.
  • You have a child(ren) with special needs/nobody understands what your going through: Emotionally intense kids and kids with special needs are very similar in the fact that they need parenting tailored to them. I myself have children who are not neurotypical and have worked (and still work) with parents of kids who have different needs from the "norm" in many ways (complicated health issues, developmental delays, trauma, etc.), so I am well placed to understand that everyone has very different realities and I promise you I WON'T JUDGE and I BELIEVE YOU as you are the one who know your kids the best.

This program will help you:

  • Identify what solution you are trying are not working and let them go
  • Significantly reduce the time you spend looking for the answers outside of yourself: you already know them!
  • Spend less time worrying and doubting your decisions
  • Avoid spending on external resources that do not really meet your needs: You will be able to choose them more easily and only if you really need them
  • Live less stress
  • Worry less
  • Reduce your feelings of guilt and failure
  • Feel less overwhelmed and (almost) stop yelling (one day, not today, sorry I won't ever promise that)
  • Enjoy time with your kids more often
  • Feel less alone

Anouk was so involved and responsive with all the students on board. She gave so freely of herself. But she also does it in the course material and shares her knowledge and tips without holding back so that everyone wins.

"Anouk (...) is very intuitive and knowledgeable and had great practical tips for me to tackle the challenges I am experiencing with my 2 children.

She had insight which I had not ever even contemplated myself.

Thanks so much Anouk!"

Being a parent is not easy and sometimes it's a constant challenge, especially when we have emotionally intense kids or kids with special needs! But it can also be so enriching and rewarding when we finally find something that helps them...and us at the same time!

Nowadays, we have access to all the possible informations on parenting which aim to help us be better parents, but also add pressure to the one we already put on ourselves! Especially when those informations don't work for our kids!

And what about the support (or lack thereof) and the judgment of other parents, those around us and society in general? That JUST DON'T GET IT!

It's to see more clearly in all of this and to help parents identify their emotionally intense kids needs, let go of all the things you "should be doing" that makes things worst, lean on your strengths and use them to take back some control on your family life that I created Family Moments and the "Just In Time" Parenting Support . To clear things up and refocus on yourselves and your children to know how to act as parents, because we are the only real experts of our children!

FAQ

How do I get started?

You just choose Month or Week and book, then download the Telegram app, you'll get the link and a link to join me there in the confirmation email once you book.

We will start in the next 24-48 hours. If you need it faster for a decision you need to make really fast, please get in contact with me using the chat on the right corner of you screen and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

Is this just for moms?

Of course not. This program is for any parents or caregiver. And you can participate together too, just let me know by email once you book.

I don't have time, how long does it take?

Oh how I understand you! We are all so lacking in time as parents! The chat is something you do whenever it fits you, you can even do it in the middle of the night (I wont answer right away though ;) and I will answer as soon as I am available. so it's like texting a friend, but one that gets it, don't ever judge and have professional and personal experience going through what you're going through.

You'll also want to apply what we are talking about, but chances are it wont really take you much time since you might just switch things you do for something else. Some things might require more implementation or you might want to research and buy some specific tools but it's all at your discretion and only if needed.

And the ultimate goal is that things go smoothly much more often so that will save you a tone of time (and energy) in the long run!

Can my partner/other parent participate too?

Absolutely ! There is no additional charge for the 2nd parent or partner as long as we are chatting in the same discussion.

Will I be able to cancel?

You can cancel at any time in the process and the remaining of the fees you haven't used will be reimbursed at the pro rata of the time passed since the day of booking. If you feel that it does not suit you, just contact me and you will be refunded without questions or conditions. I want only those who can really benefit from the program to participate, so if it's not for you, no problem! Maybe another time !

Is that support is based on scientific data?

The way I support you is not a set program or specific approch, it's adapted based on your needs, so it's not scientifically tested as is, since it's never exactly the same. However, I am using different approached that are based on scientific data like the systemic approach and the theory of empowerment as the main intervention approaches which have been studied in recognized universities and still are, and which are used in the field of social work I am trained in in particular but also in other disciplines.

I have other questions...

I will be happy to answer them. I'm always the one who reads everything but still has questions, so I completely understand. You just have to book a 15 minutes appointment for all your questions.
